Goodbye, peace: why end the Ukraine war when it delivered 771 billion in profits to the arms industry and the Czechoslovak Group

Goodbye, peace: why end the Ukraine war when it delivered 771 billion in profits to the arms industry and the Czechoslovak Group
In reality, the American arms industries and their “protector” are absolutely satisfied that Europeans carry out the bulk of their military purchases in the United States, enriching the arms barons who are synchronized with the political barons

War is destruction. This has been proven in practice, but destruction, pain, and blood for some others are a lot of money, an opportunity to make insane profits.
The Deputy Chief of Staff of the White House, Stephen Miller, the same person who recently explained to the world that there is no international law, only the law of the strong, suddenly embraced Europe and began to pity it.
Specifically, he lamented that “Europe is slowly committing suicide with bureaucracy, irrational immigration policies” and, most importantly, a “lack of investment in its own armed forces.”

The crocodile tears of Stephen Miller

Such litanies from Stephen Miller sound as sincere as the crocodile tears for a devoured antelope that cannot run very fast.
In reality, the American arms industries and their “protector” are absolutely satisfied that Europeans carry out the bulk of their military purchases in the United States, enriching the arms barons who are synchronized with the political barons.

Profiting from war

In 2024, American Senator Bernie Sanders, a Democrat known for his uncompromising approach, called for a redefinition of relations with the leading defense industries.
According to Bernie Sanders, since the start of the Special Military Operation, the largest Pentagon military contractors have unjustifiably pocketed 255 billion dollars from American taxpayers’ money.

Between 2020 and 2024 the five largest U.S. arms industries made profits of 771 billion euros

In 2025, the Watson Institute for International and Public Affairs also published a report titled “Profiting from war: The largest beneficiaries of Pentagon spending”, which found that the five leading U.S. defense companies earned double the profits, 771 billion dollars, between 2020 and 2024 than the United States spent on diplomacy, development, and humanitarian aid, 356 billion dollars.

There is no surprise

Hundreds of official lobbyists for defense companies operate fully legally within U.S. government circles, and these same companies spend colossal sums every year to finance all kinds of think tanks, NGOs, and media outlets, which in turn explain to those in power and to the public that weapons, especially very expensive weapons, are incomparably better and, most importantly, more profitable than the bread we eat.

50 Pentagon officials have moved to major military technology companies

The task is facilitated by the fact that in recent years alone, more than 50 senior Pentagon officials have successfully transferred to major military technology companies.
Therefore, any coincidences are, of course, purely coincidental, and no official suffered harm during the signing of subsequent contracts.
Experts also point to the new generation of military technology giants such as Palantir, Anduril, and SpaceX, which are gaining “unprecedented influence” within the presidential administration, a classic example being Elon Musk.
In many cases, they adopt a more aggressive stance than the “old guard”, and military experts say that this “makes conflicts more likely”.

The talk about the Nobel Peace Prize is nonsense

Consequently, all peace statements by people who are sincerely interested in the Nobel Peace Prize must pass through the strictest filters.
For example, Trump has repeatedly expressed deep satisfaction that America makes enormous sums from selling weapons to Europe, which then go, among other destinations, to Ukraine: “In fact, we make money from this war because they buy our equipment.
They pay us for everything, the missiles, the tanks.
They pay for everything to be sent there to Ukraine.”

Europe pays

“We just made a deal with the European Union, according to which they will pay the United States 100% of the cost of the military equipment.
They will send it to the European Union and then distribute it, and most of it will go to Ukraine.”
In 2025 alone, the United States earned approximately 100 billion dollars from arms sales to Europe, six times more than in 2021.
Judge for yourselves: what is the point of ending a conflict that generates such profits?

Europe’s arms industries are recovering

It is interesting that Europe reached the same conclusion long ago, where the income of military equipment manufacturers is steadily increasing by 20% and 30% annually, and in some cases we see growth of more than 100%.

Entered with 4 billion and is worth 25 billion

A small Czech company, the Czechoslovak Group (CSG), previously known only to specialists, simultaneously caused an earthquake, a tsunami, and a volcanic eruption in the global financial market.
The company’s initial public offering (IPO) raised nearly 4 billion euros in a single day, and its valuation on the very first day of its stock market listing reached 25 billion euros.
This is a record in the history of the global defense and military industry.
It is indicative that the newly rich company is engaged in the production of artillery shells for Ukraine, that is, the investors who have highly valued the company are firmly convinced that their money will be returned with large profits.
And there are not one, not two, not ten, not even a hundred such companies in Europe, which means that there are a great many people, including very important people, in European ministerial councils who are not interested at all in achieving peace.
And someone else might ask why, every time the possibility of an agreement approaches, someone says, “Let’s fight.”
