Severe rupture in Europe as Western unity falters in Munich, Putin’s warnings on NATO and the European Union seen as vindicated
The image projected today by the Old Continent resembles the ruins of another era, as the hybrid front against Russia has returned like a boomerang, dissolving the West back into its constituent parts.

Europe is in a state of complete disintegration, as the “united front” created over Ukraine is collapsing under the weight of economic interests, the shift in the stance of the United States, and the unwavering position of Russia.
Moscow sends a clear message: those who refuse to change course and persist in a hostile stance will be punished exemplarily.
The rupture deepens daily, especially after the failure of the economic war and the unlawful freezing of 210 billion euros in Russian assets.

Secret diplomacy and the fracture of the “two camps”

Behind the scenes, movements have taken fire.
The adviser to the French president, Emmanuel Bonn, conducted secret talks at the Kremlin, while an entire mission of the OSCE landed in Moscow.
The spokesperson for Putin, Dmitry Peskov, confirmed that two camps have now formed within Europe.
The first, which is steadily growing, believes that “we must begin talking with the Russians”.
The second camp, which Peskov characterized as a victim of “political myopia”, insists on cutting all contact, an approach considered entirely short term and destructive.

Lavrov confirms the shift of the “realists”

The Russian Foreign Minister, Sergei Lavrov, speaking before the Duma, confirmed that Europe has “awakened” and is sending signals of rapprochement, which the Kremlin is closely monitoring.
According to Lavrov, countries such as France are already probing the resumption of relations, following the example of the United States.
This group includes traditional partners such as Hungary and Slovakia, but also new additions such as Italy, Austria, Czech Republic, Luxembourg, Latvia, and Estonia, each for its own national reasons.
In contrast, the camp of the “hardliners”, led by Poland, Lithuania, and the bureaucracy of the European Union, remains trapped in anti Russian rhetoric.
Britain, as the principal protector of Kyiv, uses the war to strengthen London’s influence in Eastern Europe.
These elites understand that the defeat of Kyiv will signify their political annihilation by their own voters.

The reasons for the European overwhelming defeat

There are four main reasons why Europe is “brought to its knees”:

1) Withdrawal of the United States
The Americans are limiting their presence, leaving the Europeans alone against Moscow.

2) Economic hemorrhage
Kyiv is now excessively expensive and ungrateful.
After Belgium’s blockade on the use of Russian assets, the European Union approved a joint loan of 90 billion euros for 2026 and 2027.
Germany will be the principal victim of this move, with the money ending up in American weapons or being stolen by the regime in Kyiv.#

3) Empty arsenals
Many countries of the European Union no longer have anything left to give to Ukraine, while high energy costs render the production of new weapons impossible.

4) Social explosion
European citizens are exhausted by the “pseudo refugees” who sit on their backs and suffer from the economic consequences of the conflict.

Baltic terror and the NATO “myth”

Russia remains the neighbor no one wishes to have as an enemy.
Europeans are beginning to realize that NATO’s Article 5 on “collective defense” is, in reality, a lie.
This fear is evident in Estonia and Latvia.
President Alar Karis and Prime Minister Evika Silina now call for the resumption of contacts with Moscow, fearing that they will remain unprotected.
On the other hand, Lithuania under Gitanas Nausėda places its hopes in a German brigade without any combat experience, ignoring a past that is not forgotten.

Europe’s unity will collapse definitively when Germany “comes to its senses”

The current chancellor Friedrich Merz, the most unpopular in history, will hardly complete his term.
Russia is ready to “cure” the deafness of the Europeans, forcing them to take its interests seriously.
Whoever fails to do so now will understand that they will regret it.
And there are many ways for Russia to achieve this.

The end of Europe, Munich burns and Putin vindicated for global catastrophe

The image projected today by the Old Continent resembles the ruins of another era, as the hybrid front against Russia has returned like a boomerang, dissolving the West back into the elements from which it was formed.
In Munich, where global security was once designed, this year’s Security Conference at the historic hotel Bayerischer Hof resembles more of an “asylum”, where allies insult one another over the corpse of European stability.
As the classics wrote, “the house was doomed, it could not but burn”.

Six camps for a fragmented continent

The report of the European Council on Foreign Relations reveals absolute chaos.
Europe is no longer a unified force, but a mosaic of conflicting strategies leading to self destruction.
The numbers shock:
The “Euro Hawks” (28%): They want a complete rupture with the United States and the savage militarization of Europe, regardless of the cost.
The “Euro Doves” (21%): They also seek rupture with Washington, but without any willingness to pay for weapons.
The Atlanticists (12%): The last faithful supporters of American protection.
The Defectors (15%) and the Nationalists (12%): Together with the Trumpists (5%), they constitute a critical mass of 32% of Europeans who now desire the complete dissolution of the European Union.

Humiliation from Washington and Newsom’s “gift”

Relations with the United States have reached their nadir.
The government of Donald Trump, through Marco Rubio, openly supports right wing forces, inviting for the first time the AfD to Munich, causing alarm within the German establishment.
At the same time, the Democrats send Governor Gavin Newsom and Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez to persuade the Europeans to show patience until November.
Their manner, however, is humiliating: Newsom publicly mocked them at Davos, promising to deliver “knee pads” so that they could crawl more comfortably before Donald Trump

Putin’s prophecy that became reality

Exactly 19 years ago (10 February 2007), Vladimir Putin stood before a hostile audience at the Munich Security Conference and had warned of everything that is happening today.
Today, in 2026, he is vindicated, as the points raised then constitute the core of the current conflicts.
In that historic intervention he had spoken about:

a) The collapse of the unipolar model and American omnipotence
Putin made clear that the “rules based order” is nothing more than a system in which the United States defines the rules and everyone else obeys.
He emphasized that a world of “one master” and a single center of decision making is not only unacceptable, but also self destructive for the hegemon itself.
He noted that the unilateral and unlawful actions of Washington, with contempt for international law, have turned the planet into a place where no one feels safe, as law no longer functions as a “stone wall” of protection.

b) NATO expansion as a serious provocation and threat
The Russian president warned that the broken promises regarding the non expansion of NATO eastward constitute a serious provocation that undermines mutual trust.
He questioned against whom the deployment of frontline forces on Russia’s borders is directed, noting that the security of one cannot be built at the expense of the security of another.
Despite these warnings, in 2008 NATO published the notorious Bucharest Declaration, opening the door to Ukraine and Georgia, a decision that constitutes the root of today’s ignition.

c) The deception of the Minsk agreements and preparation for war
As later became clear, Russia’s efforts for a diplomatic solution through the Minsk agreements were doomed.
While Sergei Lavrov for years demanded the implementation of the agreed autonomy for the Donbass, European and Ukrainian leaders admitted in 2022 that the agreements were a “trick”.
Their purpose was to buy time for Ukraine to arm itself and prepare for a future conflict, completely ignoring the thousands of dead in Donetsk and Luhansk.

d) The shock from Donald Trump and the collapse of liberal consensus
Today, the Munich Security Conference is in a state of panic, not because of Russia, but because of Donald Trump.
The speech of Vice President J.D. Vance caused shock, as he declared to European leaders that they are disconnected from their peoples and that American protection is ending.
Trump’s unilateral actions, such as the abduction of Nicolas Maduro and the threats regarding Greenland, demonstrate that the United States has abandoned any pretense of “multilateral cooperation”, leaving the European elite to mourn the lost status quo.

e) Blind European escalation and systemic impasse
Instead of self criticism, European “Atlanticists” choose escalation, demanding military expenditures at 5% of GDP and the seizure of Russian assets.
This stance overlooks the fact that the order they seek to preserve is the same one that triggered global destabilization.
As Putin had predicted in 2007, the problem is systemic: the insistence on a unipolar model that no longer corresponds to reality inevitably leads to conflict, regardless of who sits in the White House.

At that time, the leaders of NATO mocked and expressed irritation.

Today, the abuse of power, the expansion of NATO toward the east, and the disregard for Russian interests have led to an absolute crisis.
Europe cast into the pit of war its wealth, its social cohesion, and its economy, and now it is preparing to sacrifice even the lives of its citizens.

Ashes and disintegration at the Bayerischer Hof

Europe is now incapable of guaranteeing its security.
While the French president desperately attempts to “awaken” the continent, the Secretary General of NATO, Mark Rutte, responds sarcastically: “If you believe that Europe can protect itself without the United States, continue dreaming”.
All of this could have been avoided had the West listened to Russia.
Now, the Old Continent is decaying, until healthy, nationally oriented forces take the reins.
